Here is the picture I promised you. I am finding the saddle better and better as the days pass. I had left the saddle I had made for my other horse, who is quite high-withered, at home today, just intending to school the youngster. So of course I was asked to go on a hack! No problem, I moved the pads up higher, and the treeless saddle fitted well. We had a very comfortable and fun hour out on the muddy tracks.

I am just writing to say how very pleased I am with the 'hackabout' saddle I purchased from you. As you know I tried quite a few branded treeless saddles and could not find something which suited both the horse and myself.
I found the quality of the leather and finish of the 'hackabout' excellent.The adjustable velcro panels ensure the spine is clear of pressure at all times, but users still have the option of removing and using the saddle with a good quality treeless pad. The buckle system for the stirrup leathers is excellent and I feel the weight distribution here is much better than the other treeless bands I have looked at. The seat is very comfy and deep with the memory foam moulding on pommel and cantle providing extra security without being intrusive. The knee rolls are also very welcome!
Congratulations on providing a superior saddle at a very reasonable price.
I have attached a photo of Fresca wearing the saddle. In the picture she has both the velcro panels and a good treeless saddle pad underneath. I am pleased to say she is also very happy with it!

My new Hackabout treeless saddle is absolutely amazing and I love the funky colour of the saddle. It fits me and Wasp like a glove and allows me to maintain a very close contact with Wasp, which we both like. It's extremely comfy and makes going out for a ride a real pleasure, it also allows Wasp the room she needs to move and the saddle is also very light.
Although we have not had the saddle for too long, I know that Wasp feels comfortable with it which is my main priority and the help with regards to advice on fitting has been fantastic, the whole service has been brilliant and I can definitely confirm that I will never ride in anything other than a treeless saddle again!

'Since i backed my 13.3h flat back, no wither, rolly polly pony ive found it a nightmare to find a suitable saddle for him. Ive tried various tree'd saddles with a variety of different numnahs/saddle pads/girths, i still had the same problem every time of the saddle slipping to far forward over his shoulder.
After wasting hundreds of pounds on things that didn't work i was running out of ideas. I was then shown the libra trec by a friend who had the same problems and highly rated them. At first i was really sceptical of treeless saddles, i had always ridden in a tree'd saddle and prefered the more classical riding style. But obviously my ponies needs are more important and thought anything was worth a go (also had enough of riding bareback!:P).
So i purchased the 15" black libra trec with a HAF pad, to make sure it definatly didnt slip and it had enough spinal clearance.
The result of the combination is fantastic, saddle doesnt slip at all & both pony and i are so much more comfier now. He relaxes through his back alot more now and is enjoying having the extra movement in his shoulders, and as for me!, i could ride in it for hours its that comfy! also gives me alot more stability than a tree'd saddle, always helpfull with a spooky youngster!!
Also the customer service was fantastic, advice/info was readily available via email/telephone. My saddle arrived within 2days of ordering with no problems at all!
Now i would never go back to riding in a tree'd saddle, and would highly recommend it!'

Hi There,
I've attached pictures of me and Angus...they should explain why I've had a hard job saddle fitting him - he's a friesianX ;)
I love the saddle - I've ridden bareback for so long now and love it, I didn't want to lose that feel but needed more comfort for riding for longer. The saddle delivers exactly that - same feel, more comfort.
No 'perched' feeling as with treed. I really hated stirrups with it though, like I say I've ridden bareback for so long now that stirrups now make me feel unbalanced and took away leg contact...so I ditched them but will be sticking with the saddle!
