The Libra Trec treeless saddles are ideal for plodding around the countryside and those happy hackers out there. If you have never tried treeless before then this is a great little “introductory to treeless” starter saddle,

Their design incorporates a super soft fleece underside with built in pressure relief pads and a soft flexible polyethylene pommel and cantle. The Libra Trec saddles have double D rings for a choice of stirrup leather placements.

These saddles are ideal for those table top horses and round barrel types! Extremely flexible, soft, supple and ohhh so comfortable. The saddle moulds itself around your horse, reducing saddle slipping problems you may have incurred in the past.

The Libra can be used on a whole variety of horses and as your horse looses or gains weight or muscle according to the season, the saddle will simply change shape with your horse. With the use of the Libra Correction Numnah this can help prevent pressure points on the wither and spine areas making this saddle even more adaptable.

The pommel and cantle have a special flexisoft polyethylene insert - this is much more comfortable than fibreglass inserts found in other treeless saddle but still maintains the shape of the saddle.

The Libra Trec is made of a unique synthetic material - has the look and feel of Nubuck but much more durable and easy to maintain. Simply brush off any dry mud and wipe the saddle clean with a damp cloth.

The Libra Trec is suitable for riders up to 12 stone (168lbs) For heavier riders or when using this saddle with young horses we strongly recommend the use of a good correction/pressure relief numnah underneath the saddle. We always recommend the use of safety irons or a Barnes Buckle with this type of saddle.

I've attached pictures of me and Angus...they should explain why I've had a hard job saddle fitting him - he's a friesianX ;)

I love the saddle - I've ridden bareback for so long now and love it, I didn't want to lose that feel but needed more comfort for riding for  longer.  The saddle delivers exactly that - same feel, more comfort.   

No 'perched' feeling as with treed.  I really hated stirrups with it though, like I say I've ridden bareback for so long now that stirrups now make me feel unbalanced and took away leg contact...so I ditched them but will be sticking with the saddle!
